Diego Costa 'filmed' partying in Atletico Madrid shirt and mocks Antonio Conte by asking Cesc Fabregas to give him a hug

Image
Diego Costa  has left his  Chelsea  career in tatters by appearing to pose in an Atletico Madrid shirt – and mocking  Antonio Conte. The Spain striker was seen dancing wearing the red and white striped jersey, with the footage allegedly taken from his Instagram account. Costa also appeared to respond to a comment from Cesc Fabregas. His team-mate laughed at Costa’s antics before the striker replied: “Give a hug to Conte.” Costa is still on holiday in Lagarto, Brazil but has been told he has no future at Stamford Bridge by the Italian manager. The 28-year-old rejected a move to the Chinese Super League and appears to only want a return to the Spanish capital with Los Colchoneros. The player is reported to have said ‘Aupa Atleti’ during the  video  in support of his former club. The images show Costa wearing an old Atletico shirt, from his final season with the club. Should Costa return to Atletico, he will not be able to play until January. The La Liga giants are under a trans

Operating under the cover of darkness, these mysterious elements attack households and wipe out entire families. It is widely believed that the killings are ritualistic and that is why the Badoo cultists use  white handkerchiefs to wipe the blood of their victims. Badoo’s activities started like a joke and because the government turned a blind eye to their activities instead of nipping it in the bud, it has now become a crime of an alarming proportion. Every other day, more people fall victim to the Badoo menace and the Lagos

Abdelhak Nouri Ajax midfielder Abdelhak Nouri collapsed and was taken to hospital by helicopter during a pre-season friendly against Werder Bremen. The incident, which happened in the second half of the game in Austria, led to the match being abandoned. BBC Sports reports that Ajax later said the player was “stable” in hospital and being “kept asleep for optimal treatment”. Nouri, 20, was part of the Ajax squad for the Europa League final against Manchester United in May. However, the Netherlands youth international played no part in the game, which United won 2-0. He now plans to complete his gender reassignment to remove his breasts and ovaries. But when he was refused, he found an anonymous donor through a  Facebook  group and put his transition on hold. “Having a biological child has always meant a lot to me,” he said earlier this year. “I’ve always wanted kids.” His daughter was born at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. Her birth was registered at Gloucester  Register  Office on Wednesday, with Mr Cross listed as mother but no  father  named. He received death threats after news of his pregnancy broke. “I have had some good reactions but I’ve had some really ba

Lukaku arrested after rowdy party in Beverly Hills

Manchester United-bound striker Romelu Lukaku is likely to have to spend a fraction of his extravagant salary on settling a fine in Beverly Hills after being arrested during a noisy party at his rented mansion. A Beverly Hills Police Department statement on Saturday said Lukaku was arrested at his temporary residence in Beverly Hills on July 2 following a series of complaints over noise at the home. The statement said Lukaku was released at the scene after being issued a misdemeanor citation for excessive noise. It came after police officers responded to five other noise complaints from the same location, the statement added. However he is unlikely to be required to show up in person for a misdemeanor case. Lukaku, 24, has been staying in Los Angeles with France and Manchester United star Paul Pogba on holiday. Billionaire kidnapper, Evans vanishes

Image
After weeks of public furore and media frenzy, a sudden blackout has descended on the case of Chukwuduneme Onwuamadike a.k.a. Evans, Nigeria’s infamous billionaire kidnapper, thus fuelling speculations that he’s escaped, or dead. Saturday Sun has however gathered that Evans is not dead as his family now fears but has been moved from the Lagos police command headquarters cell by about 30 heavily armed men at midnight few days ago to an undisclosed destination. Some senior police officers in the know told Saturday Sun he was moved to Abuja Indeed, in the last few days, a palpable silence seemed to have enshrouded the Evans phenomenon. Where is Evans? It is a question the police is not prepared to officially answer right now. A man who hitherto divulged the details of his criminal life to the public almost on a daily basis is suddenly no longer accessible to even the press corps. All a Saturday Sun reporter who visited the state police command was told was that Evans is no longer al

Bayern don’t need big-name signings to succeed – Alcantara

Image
Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara has defended the club’s transfer policy, telling Sport Bild the Bundesliga champions do not need a massive signing to compete with Europe’s best clubs. Ahead of his fifth season at the club, Thiago, 26, echoed president Uli Hoeness’ sentiment that there are no guarantees of Champions League success, even with a €100 million signing, after Bayern’s interest in Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez reportedly cooled off . “I believe Bayern Munich has always distinguished itself by not being about an individual player who stands out from the rest,” he said. “You don’t necessarily have to spend so much money. There are so many hugely talented players yet to be discovered who will not cost these vast sums of money. That is the FC Bayern way — to sign a player and shape them. “It has always been this way and I always admired that about the club while I was in Spain. Those responsible are doing a good job and have a vision.” Thiago signed for Bayern from Bar

Man United finally make a huge bid for Alvaro Morata - Real Madrid have responded

Image
Alvaro Morata. While Wayne Rooney's return has dominated the headlines today, it's not the outgoings that are really concerning Red Devils' fans at the moment, it's the lack of incomings. Victor Lindelof remains the only major signing that Jose Mourinho has managed to get across the line thus far and he parted with £40 million to get ahold of his Swedish ball-playing defender. However, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic departing the club this summer and Rooney seemingly set for a romantic return to Everton, United are down two strikers with just the young Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to fill the void. This is where it gets complicated. Mourinho was said to be desperate to sign Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, but when Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly revealed his intentions to leave Real, that threw the ultimate spanner in the works. Naturally, United were seen as the frontrunners to bring the Portuguese superstar back to Old Trafford alongside the opulent Paris Saint-Germ

Messi will stay until 2021 with new Sh66.9m-a-week deal

Barcelona forward Lionel Messi failed to find the net as his side lost 3-0 to Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final in Turin on April 11, 2017 LONDON, United Kingdom, Jul 5 – Barcelona have announced Lionel Messi’s contract renovation with the buy-out clause likely to rise to Sh35.3b (£264m). Messi had left Barca supporters nervously trying to read the signs coming out of his camp as his current deal was allowed to run down to June 2018. But that wait is finally over with the player ready to tie his future to the club he joined as a 13-year-old. The new contract will run until 2021, with the option of an extra year. The 30-year-old all-time club-record goalscorer has been linked to the Premier League with last year’s tax evasion case almost sending him into the arms of Manchester City but Barcelona have renewed vows with their greatest-ever player. Messi got married to long-term partner Antonella Roccuzzo last Friday and he is still on honeymoon in the

Nigerian Defender, Tipped To Be The Next Dani Alves, Rated Among Man Utd's Modern Full-Backs

Image
American youth international of Nigerian descent Matthew Olosunde has been picked among the best modern day full-backs at Manchester United. Ahead of the opening weekend of the 2017-2018 season, The Red Devils have beamed their searchlight on the most promising wing-backs on the youth teams, with Matthew Olosunde, Joe Riley, Demi Mitchell, Jake Kenyon and George Tanner selected. Olosunde offers versatility as he is equally comfortable playing as a central defender and defensive midfielder, but he recently admitted that his favorite position is right wing-back. ''Matthew Olosunde began to nail down the position on the other side of the defence under interim coach Nicky Butt and finished the campaign strongly, with his surging runs down the flank a key feature of the side's attacking play,'' wrote Manchester United on their official website. Joe Riley added : ''I’m happy for him (Demi) and Matthew Olosunde at right-back as well. '' ''Both

After Wayne Rooney, who should be Manchester United's next captain?

Image
With Wayne Rooney set to return to his boyhood club Everton, Manchester United are losing a club legend. But his imminent departure also means the captain's role will be available next season. As the record goal scorer, Rooney's legendary status wouldn't usually be questioned but controversy surrounds this discussion when it comes to him. The player famously asked to leave the club in 2010, before claiming it was the biggest mistake of his career. Less than two years later, he again told Sir Alex Ferguson he wanted to leave, but ended up staying and signing a new contract. Everton fans will forgive all the times he goaded them by kissing United's badge over the last 13 years, so United fans can get over his lack of loyalty. Often something has to end before it can truly be appreciated and that's likely what will happen with Rooney at United. One thing that isn't up for much debate is that Rooney will not go down as a legendary captain. He was the shock select
