After a goalless first half Ronaldo gave Juventus the lead in the 65th minute with a well struck volley before Manchester United clawed their way to the game through a free kick by  Juan Mata  in the 86th minute with a  Leonardo Bonucci  own goal. Despite his side suffering their first defeat of the season, Ronaldo was more worried with the tactics deployed by his former side as  the Premier League giants  recorded a much needed win.
