Good news for Man United fans as Sir Alex Ferguson finally comes to the rescue

Image
It has remained a terrible nightmare at Old Trafford presently owing to the club’s disastrous start to the season. United have witnessed their worst football record since the last 30 years as they sit  12 th  on the EPL table and only two points above relegation zone. Obviously, no one would have seen this coming especially after their huge business dealing at the last summer transfer window that brought in Harry Maguire for £80m (making him the world most expensive defender), Daniel James for £15m and Aaron Wan-Bissaka for £50m. Against the Red Devil’s fans expectations, the football fortune of the club has remained horrendous. The sad situation has left little or nothing to desire with many pointing accusing fingers in different directions. Solksjaer While some blame the misfortune on the manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, others blame it on the Executive Vice Chairman, Ed Woodward. But the only solution now is to look for a critical way for re...

Manchester United Sacks coach

Image
It has been six years since Sir Alex Ferguson retired and things have never been same again at for record English champions Manchester United. Post the Fergie era, the United board have roped in big names like Jose Mourinho and Louis Van Gaal along with ex Everton boss David Moyes. All these personalities have failed to have had the kind of impact expected from them. After the axing of Mourinho, Ed Woodward roped in former Red Devil’s striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a temporary basis but as a string of victories and the Norwegian against all the odds became the permanent boss. Now under his stewardship, Manchester United are 12th in the league and just 2 points off the drop zone. They are playing the worst football they have managed in ages which brings us to a very important question – is it time for him to go? Manchester United were never a hire, and fire club and their fans would taunt someone like Chelsea who bring in a manager every season. But how times have changed at Manchest...

Man Utd board takes decision on sacking Solskjaer after 1-0 defeat at Newcastle

Image
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer retains the backing of the Manchester United power-brokers and the majority of fans, Sky Sports reports. It is believed the Norwegian will be given time and money to turn his fortunes around at Old Trafford. Solskjaer has admitted on many occasions, that there will be “bumps in the road” or “ups and downs”, as he endures a miserable start to the 2019/2020 campaign. United have managed just two Premier League victories so far this season. They have gone 11 away fixtures without a win, one goal in the last three games and are currently in 12th position, two points above relegations places. However, the board will not fire Solskjaer just yet and will give him ample time, to turn the club’s fortunes around.

Evra: Why Daniel James Has What it Takes

Image
Reds legend Patrice Evra has been impressed by Manchester United new boy Daniel James's introduction to life in the Premier League. The summer signing from Swansea City has already scored three times for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men in his first four appearances and was  voted our Player of the Month for August . Evra, who is at the Aon Training Complex as he bids to obtain his coaching badges, handed the 21-year-old his trophy and felt the youngster was a deserving winner. “I think you deserve it and, to be honest, like I was saying before, I'm really, really happy to give you that trophy because the passion, the love,” said the Frenchman. “I can see it. It's the best day in your life when you're playing for this club and we need those players.  ”I remember your celebration [against Chelsea] — you gave me goosebumps! I was watching on TV and it was not about your goal, but more about your celebration because it was like 'the club is on t...

Zidane Clears Classy Star To Join Manchester United

Image
Manchester United have been cleared to sign a long-term replacement for Juan Mata in January, while Arsenal have been given renewed hope of a deal for Yannick Carrasco in the winter window, according to Monday’s European papers. MAN UTD GIVEN GREEN LIGHT TO SIGN ISCO IN JANUARY Zinedine Zidane has told Isco he is free to leave the club in the winter window, with Manchester United leading the chase to sign him. The Spain playmaker appears to have fallen down the pecking order under Zidane at the Bernabeu, with Eden Hazard’s return to fitness expected to see him phased out of the side. And according to  Don Balon,  Zidane has told Isco he will not stand in his way over a January exit at the Bernabeu with the club reportedly willing to let the 27-year-old move on for a fee of around €60m (£53.5m). It’s believed United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees Isco as a long-term replacement for experienced playmaker Juan Mata, who could be allowed to retur...

"I am disappointed," in Manchester United Paul Scholes told Premier League TV

Image
The Red Devils dropped points for the third successive game with a 1-1 draw at St Mary's Paul Scholes believes that Manchester United were let down by some of their senior players during Saturday's 1-1 draw at  Southampton  . The Red Devils took an early lead at St Mary's through Daniel James' third goal of the season, but their advantage disappeared when defender Jannik Vestergaard equalised in the second half. The hosts were reduced to 10 men when Kevin Danso was sent off in the 73rd minute, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were unable to find a winner as they dropped points for the third game in a row. Solskjaer put his faith in the club's younger players once again, with the likes of Andreas Pereira, Scott McTominay and summer recruit James all starting, but former United midfielder Scholes said they are being set a bad example by some of the more experienced members of the squad. "I am disappointed," Scholes told Premier League TV after the ma...

BREAKING: FIFA's rules allow Neymar to leave PSG

Image
The European summer transfer window for the 2019-20 season officially shut down on Monday, 2nd September – and as it happened, it was also understood that Neymar will not be leaving his current club Paris Saint Germain (PSG), despite talks of interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, it appears that all hopes are not lost for the Brazilian superstar, who can still force a move away from Paris next summer – thanks to FIFA’s regulations, according to a report from  Mundo Deportivo . The report claims that  The Regulations on the Statute and Transfer of FIFA Players section in the FIFA rulebook, recognizes the right of every footballer to leave his club, after completing what FIFA defines as the “protected period”, which is three full seasons or three years, whichever comes first. After the “protected period” is completed, if a player still maintains the same contract as when he signed without having renewed, he is allowe...

Manchester United's WORST ever signing?

Image
Manchester United have had their fair share of flops down the years. There have been some atrocious bit-part players under Sir Alex Ferguson and big-money disasters under the tenures of Louis van Gaal and  Jose Mourinho . Alexis Sanchez, who cost United £560,000 a week (£300,000 base salary, £100,000 a week in image rights and £160,000 in other bonuses), finally departed for Inter Milan after a nightmare 18 months at the club that returned just five goals in 45 games. Sportsmail have taken a look at United's top 10 WORSE ever signings following Sanchez's exit, but does the Chilean bag the No 1 spot? Alexis Sanchez is on our list of Manchester United's all-time flops, but is he No 1? 10. Fred (£52m... but has time to prove doubters wrong) After just one season in the Premier League, it is perhaps a tad harsh for Fred to be involved already in an 'all-time flop list'. However, given the money spent on the Brazilian last summer when he signed from...

Solskjaer speaks on Pogba leaving Man Utd tomorrow

Image
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken on the rumours linking midfielder Paul Pogba away from the club, saying the 26-year old is happy at Old Trafford. Solksjaer’s comments were in response to Real boss Zinedine Zidane suggesting anything could still happen before the European window closes tomorrow at 5pm. The Spanish giants have £150million to blow before then but, according to Solskjaer, they can forget about a last-gasp swoop for his French World Cup winner. And that’s despite Pogba resisting the offer of a new contract at United. After United’s 1-1 draw at Southampton , the Norwegian, asked about Zidane’s remarks, said: “Paul Pogba will be playing for us.” Pogba scarcely looked full of the joys of life on the south coast as he delivered one of those dodgy displays that have become his trademark during his second spell at the club. The ex-Juventus playmaker had a shocker – losing possession on numerous occas...
